What is ‘Connect the Classroom’?
Connect the Classroom is an investment funding programme run by the Department for Education (DfE). This is “use it or lose it” funding that you need to spend within a limited time frame.
The goal of Connect the Classroom is to transform your school’s current IT and network infrastructure, so every classroom has faster and more reliable internet connectivity. The money must be spent on the infrastructure equipment and set-up you need in order to meet the latest Wi-Fi 6 standards.
